If that's true, than it's a bummer since the config util does at least register the PS4 triggers and assigns a button number to them. I've always played with a PS2 controller using a PS2->USB converter, so I don't know. On Steam Community, someone said that Ys Felghana doesn't like analog Triggers in general and one register even a real 360 controller. Holding the PS button on the synced controller will wake the Steam Link back up. Now I just stop streaming, hold the PS button for 10 seconds to turn off the controller, and let the Steam Link go into standby mode by sitting idle.
To connect the PS4 controller via Bluetooth, press and hold the central PS Button and the Share button for three seconds until the lightbar at the top. Only caveat I've found is that you have to re-sync your controller if you completely power off your Steam Link. Press this button to turn on the controller.
at least all of the ones I've seen so far. Highlight the controller and click connect down on the bottom and you should be good to go! Being able to play with a wireless controller is awesome, though the Steam Link will complain about every game being better experienced with a keyboard and mouse.
It should show up on your Steam Link now as a controller. On your PS4 controller, hold down the PS button & and Share button until the light starts flashing on it. Go in there and it'll list all bluetooth devices it can find. So when the Steam Link is powered up and is on the screen where you select which computer to stream from, there is an option on the left to add or manage devices.
